Media Information and Communication Technologies Sector and Training Authority (MICT Seta) is a Statutory body established in terms of Skills Development Act (no. 27 of 1998) and required to implement National Skills Development Objectives as agreed with The Department of Higher Education and Training. MICT Seta will implement learning programmes in cooperation with suitably qualified employers. The MICT Seta has expressed the need to provide formal career development training opportunities, through the IBM Workforce Development Solutions vehicle for unemployed learners in South Africa. In order to do this, the MICT Seta has decided to contract IBM SA (PTY) LTD as a service provider to develop, manage and deliver the implementation of the Internships. IBM SA (PTY) LTD has extensive expertise in Information Communication Technology and can deliver the required services within the constraints of time, cost and quality to advance the objectives of the National Skills Development Strategy. The MICT Seta hereby appoints IBM SA (PTY) LTD as the service provider for the services and IBM SA (PTY) LTD is willing to provide the services to the MICT Seta.
